As you are aware the modern social fabric changes alarmingly day by day. In the rat race of life, the nuclear families find it too onerous to cope. The first casualty of such a crisis is children. The child needs the parental care the most in the early childhood days when his or her emotional, social and intellectual horizons widen in a stormy way. However, the grim reality is that parents often fail to give the essential support to their children because of their various preoccupations.

It is here schools step in. Schools are the second homes and teachers are the second parents. However, the choice of the right school is not a simple task. Children are bundles of talent and energy. Schools have pivotal roles to play to chisel, sharpen and whet their creativity and to assist the children to come out of the cocoon of diffidence. 

This is the dream that we at DAV. We want to prepare them so that they can face challenges with aplomb and accept success with humility. We want them to experience the real joy of living not just obtain a vicarious knowledge of it through books. We want them to be known as honourable players and not just winners, as wise and not just intelligent, as understanding and not just knowledgeable, as kind and compassionate and not just friendly.

 The devoted tribe of our teachers leaves no stone unturned to identify and nurture the potentialities of the children and create a congenial environment for growth.
